2022 Husqvarna FC 250 Dyno Test

How much power does Husqvarna’s MY22 250 four-stroke motocrosser produce?

It’s no secret that Husqvarna’s 250 four-stroke motocross bike, the FC 250, will be given a full revamp in 2023. We know this because the Austrian brand’s special-edition version of it, the FC 250 Rockstar Edition, is new from the ground up. The next-generation FC 250 will have a lot to live up to as the 20192022 models have been some of the best in the 250F MX segment, especially on the dyno.

This year, the FC 250 cranked out 39.7 hp and 18.8 pound-feet of torque on our in-house dyno, ranking it second among its peers in peak horsepower and tied with the GasGas MC 250F for runner-up in maximum torque. Although we don’t have a crystal ball, we wouldn’t be surprised if the FC 250 and KTM 250 SX-F continue to produce the highest peak horsepower and torque figures in the class next year. We’ll find out soon enough as the 2023 models are on their way.
