2027 Kawasaki KX327 and KX327X First Look

Team Green’s new-for-2027 two-stroke motocross and off-road bikes will be here later this year.

At long last, Kawasaki has unveiled its new-for-2027 two-stroke dirt bike, which is available in motocross and cross-country trims in the form of the KX327 and KX327X, respectively. Both models are powered by a fuel-injected liquid-cooled two-stroke 327cc single-cylinder engine, built around an aluminum perimeter frame derived from the KX450, and suspended by a KYB Air-Oil Separate (AOS) 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork and KYB shock.

Kawasaki has lifted the curtain on its new-for-2027 two-stroke dirt bike models. The KX327 (pictured) is designed for motocross riding and racing, while the KX327X is tailored for off-road shredding and competition.Kawasaki

The KX327 and KX327X fire to life via electric start and feature a hydraulic clutch, two engine maps, and smartphone connectivity through Rideology the App KX2, which provides access bike settings, riding logs, and maintenance information and reminders. Ergo-Fit technology is a staple on Kawasaki closed-course dirt bikes, and the adjustable ergonomic features are on the premix-burning green machines as well with two footpeg and four handlebar mounting positions.

The KX327 and KX327X (pictured) have different transmissions—the former is equipped with a five-speed and the latter, a six-speed.Kawasaki

Nissin brakes with dual-piston front and single-piston rear calipers and 270mm front and 240mm rear discs mirror those found on the KX250 and KX250X. Excel Takasago rims are standard equipment, and rear rim sizes are what’s common on motocross and cross-country machines, as the KX327 is equipped with a 19-inch and the KX327X sports an 18-inch. Tires differ between them with the KX327 relying on Dunlop Geomax MX34 rubber and the KX327X being outfitted with Dunlop Geomax AT82s.

Components exclusive to the KX327X to make it suited for off-road riding and racing are a six-speed transmission (instead of a five-speed gearbox like the KX327), larger capacity 2.2 gallon semitransparent fuel tank, skid plate with linkage guard, rear brake disc guard, kickstand, and hand guards.

The 2027 Kawasaki KX327 and KX327X carry suggested retail prices of $9099 and $9699, respectively, and will be available in late 2026. Full specifications aren’t available as Kawasaki states both models are still in development.
