How Much Power Does the 2026 Triumph TF 450-X Make?

Dyno testing Triumph’s first standard-model 450cc motocross bike for horsepower and torque.

Model year 2026 marks Triumph’s first with a standard 450cc motocross bike—the TF 450-X. The British motorcycle company’s first 450cc motocross bike was the TF 450-RC Edition in 2025, and the TF 450-X is mostly similar to it. There are some differences between them though—a couple being the TF 450-X isn’t equipped with Triumph’s Wi-Fi Module Kit (which allows users to adjust fuel and ignition mapping via the MX Tune Pro smartphone app) and doesn’t come with a unique engine map customized by Ricky Carmichael.

A lack of those features doesn’t inhibit the TF 450-X on Dirt Rider’s in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer though. Triumph’s standard 450cc motocross bike produces impressive figures at the rear wheel with 55.7 hp and 32.9 lb.-ft. of torque, which is just 0.1 hp less and 0.8 lb.-ft. of torque more than the TF 450-RC Edition at peak.
