How much power does Husqvarna’s 450 motocross bike make in 2021?

Benefiting from having the smoothest, most linear power delivery in the class, the Husqvarna FC 450 is one of the easiest 450cc motocross bikes to ride. While “smooth” and “easy to ride” might make it sound like Husqvarna’s flagship motocrosser isn’t one of the most powerful in the class, that is not the case. It makes the most horsepower of all the bikes from 10,000 to 11,200 rpm and the most torque in the class from 8,000 to 9,000 rpm. As far as peak figures, the FC 450 produces 55.0 hp at 9,200 rpm and 34.6 pound-feet of torque at 7,400 rpm.

“The Husqvarna FC 450 power delivery is very linear—similar to the KTM with slightly less hit. This might be due to the EFI settings and it also runs a different muffler.” —Allan Brown
