Team Troy Lee Designs Honda is pleased and excited to announce its official team roster for the 2004 AMA Supermoto season. The team will showcase four exceptional riders this year. Perennial crowd favorite and multi-time AMA champion, Doug Henry will join Jeff Ward, Chris Fillmore and Troy Lee in its effort to capture the 2004 AMA Supermoto National Championship. The team will again be competing on Honda motorcycles sponsored by American Honda, Fun Bike Center, Timex, The Primm Collection, PPG, Dunlop and Honda Pro Oils and Chemicals among others.Signed as the newest member to Team Troy Lee Designs Honda, Henry is a former multi-time AMA U.S. Motocross and Supercross Champion. His Supermoto success in '03, his immense fan popularity and his commitment to product development will be a tremendous asset to the team. Troy expressed, "I've been painting Doug's helmets for over 15 years and I'm stoked to have Doug stepping into our gear and onto our team. How cool is that?"Ward is one of the most accomplished racers in U.S. history with vast experience in not only motorcycle racing but Indy cars as well. He holds numerous AMA Motocross and Supercross Championships, has been on seven winning Motocross des Nations teams, and attained the most event wins during the 2003 AMA Supermoto series. He has twice been named AMA Sportsman of the Year, most recently in '03 as a result of his spectacular effort for Team Troy Lee Designs in Supermoto competition.Fillmore is the former KTM factory backed racer who finished second in the Supermoto Unlimited division in '03 and is a sensation at the youthful age of 17. In Fillmore's inaugural ride with the team, he followed teammate Ward home for a second place finish at Fontana Motor Speedway on April 4th. Fillmore quickly adapted to the Hondas and looks forward to being teamed with two of the most respected riders of all time for 2004.
