Mechanic Cory Graffunder

Cory Graffunder's 2017 Husqvarna TC 250 two-stroke EnduroCross race bike is built by none other than Cory Graffunder himself. Cory grew up on a farm so his proficiency in fixing mechanical things is high. In college Cory took power sport and marine tech classes, further honing his mechanical skills. If you see Cory at the races and have a tractor question, he might just have the answer!

The TC 250 isn't stock; a 300cc kit replaces the 250 piston and cylinder. At this point Cory doesn't modify the engine, but has plans on doing some porting and head work in the future. Switching to a Keihin carb was the single biggest improvement to the whole package according to Cory. He goes way leaner across the board for jetting so the motor is much more crisp. Between the carb and engine are Boyesen reeds. To further smooth out the power delivery Cory uses a Steahly flywheel weight and power leaves the motor through a Rekluse manual clutch. Gas is mixed at a 60:1 ratio with Motul oil. As Graffunder's major sponsor, SRT supplies a lot of the parts on Cory's bike, including the SRT pipe. An SRT muffler will be coming soon. The skid plate is an SXS skid plate. SRT sells sweet complete wheel sets and that is what is on Cory's bike and the color is cool looking.

The rear tire is a Kenda Ibex and on the front is a Kenda Millville or Southwick, depending on the on soil type. Inside the rear tire are TireBalls and Cory uses a Kenda Tuff tube. The chain and sprockets are SRT brand and Cory's average gear set up hovers around a 12/51. If you are looking for a 12-tooth counter shaft sprocket, SRT makes them. Flexx Bars ad some cushion and are mounted through stock triple clamps.

Cory's TC 250 uses stock suspension components with heavy tuning by TBT Racing. Cory says his set up gets stiffer every year to handle the harder hitting style of EnduroCross. The first 3-4 inches are set up very plush and then the damping ramps up quickly to avoid harsh bottom outs.

The brakes are stock except for the SRT rotors. The radiators also stock but use SRT guards. TM Designs provides chain guidance and a surface to slide on while an SRT shark fin protects the rear disc. AME grips sit next to stock levers.
