How much power does Yamaha’s 250 four-stroke motocross bike make?

The 2019 Yamaha YZ250F has a starting suggested retail price of $8,199 and is available in Team Yamaha Blue and White. Powering this Japanese motorcycle is a liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-valve, 250cc four-stroke engine.

We ran the YZ250F on our rear-wheel dyno in third gear to determine peak output from Yamaha’s 250F motocross bike. We documented 37.45 hp at 12,390 rpm and 18.53 pound-feet of torque at 8,440 rpm.
