The 2022 Beta 200 RR Race Edition has new features and a few additional factory upgrades over the standard model. This is the Italian manufacturer’s race-oriented, hard enduro–specific model. Some of the Race Edition enhancements include a KYB Air-Oil Separate (AOS) 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork, larger footpegs, front axle pull for quick wheel removal, dual-ring rear sprocket, red rear chain guide, Metzeler Six Day Off Road tires, Rtech Vertigo hand guards, and stunning factory race team graphics. Another interesting difference is that to save weight, this bike uses premix fuel unlike the oil-injected 200 RR standard model. Let’s take a look at some of the 200 RR Race Edition’s unique features.

Beta’s 199cc two-stroke engine is counterbalanced to eliminate all vibration. For 2022, the Italian manufacturer updated the cylinder head, which now features the new Beta Progressive Valve (BPV) power valve system to increase midrange and top-end power.Jeff Allen
A properly tuned Keihin PWK 36mm carburetor can outperform electronic fuel injection (EFI) two-strokes for seat-of-the-pants response and torque.Jeff Allen
