2021 Honda CRF450R, CRF450RWE, And CRF450RX First Look

A quick glance at Honda’s three heavily revised 450cc dirt bikes for MY21.

Honda has released details about its 2021 models including its highest-displacement motocross bike, the CRF450R, as well as the special edition version of it, the CRF450RWE. Also, its flagship cross-country model, the CRF450RX. American Honda briefed us on these three motorcycles yesterday, but being that each model received a complete overhaul, there’s still more information to dig through. Stay tuned for a full comprehensive article on the updates made to Honda’s 2021 dirt bikes to hit the site in the next few days, but in the meantime, here’s a quick first look at each of Big Red’s three all-new 450cc models.

2021 Honda CRF450RWE

The special edition version of Honda’s highest-displacement motocrosser, the CRF450RWE features a Yoshimura RS-12 full titanium exhaust system, titanium nitride-coated lower fork legs, D.I.D DirtStar LT-X rims, a Hinson Racing clutch basket and cover, a Twin Air air filter, red valve cover, and Team Honda HRC graphics by Throttle Jockey.Courtesy of Honda

2021 Honda CRF450RX

Honda’s top-of-the-line cross-country motorcycle, the CRF450RX receives many of the same changes as its motocross-oriented counterpart while making use of off-road-specific items such as a larger-capacity fuel tank, 18-inch rear wheel, Dunlop Geomax AT81 tires, kickstand, and hand guards.Courtesy of Honda
