2020 Honda CRF125F/CRF125F Big Wheel

The Honda CRF125F and CRF125F Big Wheel first hit the trailbike market in 2014 and replaced the long-standing CRF80F and CRF100F. The CRF125F is spec’d with a 17-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel. As the name implies, the CRF125 Big Wheel has a larger 19-inch front wheel and 16-inch rear wheel that raise the seat height by approximately 2 inches, serving as an excellent stepping stone to a full size trailbike. It also has a longer swingarm.

We conducted a first ride review of the Honda CRF125F and CRF125F Big Wheel model when they were first introduced in 2014. For MY20, the CRF125F retails for $3,099, while its taller and longer CRF125 Big Wheel sibling comes in at $3,499. Some competitors for the 2020 Honda CRF125 and CRF125 Big Wheel would include the 2020 Suzuki DR-Z125L, 2020 Yamaha TT-R125LE, and 2020 Kawasaki KLX140.

Both the Honda CRF125F and CRF125F Big Wheel received notable updates in 2019 with a new twin-spar steel frame, a Keihin electronic fuel-injection system, and new bodywork. For 2020, the 125cc four-stroke models return unchanged.
