Pat Smage Renews Contract With Sherco USA For 2016

Eight-time National MotoTrials Champion Pat Smage has signed a contract that sees him back with Sherco USA for the 2016 season.

Smage will once again team with six-time US champ Ryan Young, with Young acting as Smage’s minder for the coming year.

In 2015, Smage won all eight rounds he attending of the 10-round Aires AMA US National MotoTrials schedule, missing the final two rounds due to a death in the family.

Smage will ride a Brad Baumert-prepped 300 ST Sherco for the 2016 season and appears to be the odds on favorite to claim a ninth title, which would put him within reach of Geoff Aaron’s record 10 titles.
