Jason Anderson Wins 2018 SX Championship

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jason Anderson secured the 2018 450SX Championship at the series' final round in Las Vegas this weekend, giving Anderson, Rockstar Husqvarna, and Rekluse all their first 450SX titles. Anderson's championship comes as a result of a hard-fought season. He earned a podium spot 11 times, including wins in Houston, Oakland, San Diego, and Atlanta.

Following a collision that resulted in a 17th-place finish in Salt Lake City, Anderson and the team came back strong in Las Vegas; he qualified third and took second in his heat. When the gate dropped on the main, Anderson needed 10th or better to secure the championship, and he did just that. He crossed the finish line in fifth place, ending the season with a nine-point lead over Marvin Musquin.
