Tony Cairoli Win MX1 GP Word Championship 2010

2010 MX1 GP World Championship News Release

Winning the Brazilian Grand Prix, Tony Cairoli was awarded the MX1 World Championship title two GPs before the end of the season.

Antonio Cairoli won his first World title in 2005 in the MX2 (250F) class, his second came in 2007, also in the MX2 class, and last year he took the MX1 championship, all with Yamaha.

In 2010 Cairoli and his team De Carli switched to KTM. The Austrian manufacturer put the 24-year-old's Italian and his team on the new KTM 350 SX-F, developed in cooperation with 10-time Word Champion Stefan Everts.
