Ducati Dirt Bike

Check out this crazy concept drawing that a secret source sent to Dirt Rider this week. Could Ducati be entering a new market with this wild machine? We have no idea, but the fact that there is a concept drawing shows us that somebody is thinking about it!

From what we can see, the bike looks more moto-oriented and sports a number of components that are pretty standard in the off-road market--linkage, upside-down forks, left-side drive and the like. However, there is no visible gas cap or air-box access, though it appears that there might be an intake duct under the rear fender. The motor us obviously a four-stroke.

Again, this is just a concept drawing that found its way to us, so there's no telling if Ducati is even thinking about producing a dirt bike. But wouldn't it be awesome if they were?
