Beta USA Signs Ty Tremaine

Beta USA recently announced the signing of Ty Tremaine to its factory race team. Tremaine was signed by Beta USA earlier in the season with the intention that he would finish the 2018 EnduroCross series for Alta Motors. However, when the electric bike manufacturer suddenly closed its doors, Beta USA offered Tremaine a bike to ride for the remainder of the series, where he finished on the podium twice.

“I feel blessed and extremely appreciative for the opportunity to ride for factory Beta,” Tremaine said. “I have always wanted to ride for Beta after seeing how good their program is year after year. I’m very excited for what is to come and really thankful to be apart of such a supportive team.”

Tremaine will race the 2019 EnduroCross series as well as the 2019 WORCS series on a Beta 300 RR Race Edition. He will be under the guidance of Rodney Smith, who serves as team manager for Beta USA and is an AMA Hall of Famer.

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to be working with Ty,” Smith said. “I feel that he will be a big asset to Team Beta. Ty seems to be ready to take his career to the next level, and I believe with our race team we are ready to help him make that happen.
