Following a championship-winning season in 2015, Cody Webb defended his second-career title in 2016 riding aboard the KTM 250 XC-F for his first full season with the FMF KTM Factory Racing Team. Webb maintained a solid position in the championship standings, finishing atop the podium at each of the eight rounds. With the championship coming down to the final race, Webb pulled off a convincing win to cap off the season but he fell just short of capturing the overall championship - leaving him hungry for more in 2017.
