2025 Suzuki DR-Z4S Press Launch Photo Gallery

Behind the scenes at Suzuki’s new-for-2025 dual sport motorcycle global media event in Oregon.

Suzuki held a worldwide press launch for its all-new DR-Z4S in the mountains of Oregon a few months ago. Routes took us on single-track trails with rocky hills and gravel fire roads as well as paved winding roads in the Tillamook State Forest. This wide range of terrain worked out perfect for determining how the Hamamatsu manufacturer’s new-for-2025 dual sport motorcycle handles off- and on-road. From first-gear single-track to fifth-gear highway speeds, Suzuki was determined to showcase how well its DR-Z4S performs in such conditions, which is a testament to how confident it is in the machine built to replace the iconic and long-standing DR-Z400S. During the multiday global media event, we snapped some photos to give readers a behind-the-scenes look at what went on during the 2025 Suzuki DR-Z4S media introduction. An aluminum skid plate is just one of Suzuki’s Genuine Accessories for the DR-Z4S. This is certainly an item to consider if you spend a lot of time riding off-road.Cody Johnston
Yellow bikes as far as the eye can see awaiting their pilots for day 1 of test riding. If Champion Yellow No. 2/Solid Special White No. 2 isn’t your preferred color, Suzuki offers its DR-Z4S in one other hue—Solid Iron Gray.Cody Johnston
Break time while exploring trails. With so many trees, there’s no shortage of shade in this part of Oregon.Cody Johnston
Suzuki went all out for this press launch. It even brought the teams of engineers who developed the DR-Z4S, including those who focused on bodywork and design to engine and electronics. Each engineer present had a specific hand in a part of the bike. I spoke to one who designed the piston! While there was somewhat of a language barrier, it was very neat to talk to gentlemen who helped design the DR-Z4S.Cody Johnston
I’m not sure what looks better—the sun peeking through the trees or the flashy yellow DR-Z4S. I’d say they go together like bread and butter.Cody Johnston

Dusty smiles when riding in God’s country. Suzuki staff sure did their homework when putting together the loop we rode. It was not only good for testing, but also fun.Cody Johnston

After about six hours of riding, the bikes are done for the day. At this time, all of the technicians and engineers perform checks and re-prepare them so they’re ready for day 2 of testing.Cody Johnston
