Team Suzukis bad luck gets worse.

The following is a press release from Traction Enterprises:Suzuki's Sean Hamblin was injured in a crash in his qualifier at Edison International Field on Saturday night. Hamblin crashed in the whoop section and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The 21-year-old sustained a bruised lung and a dislocated jaw. He also suffered from a hematoma to his bicep and chipped a tooth. Hamblin is expected to make a full recovery. He will consult with his personal physician early this week to determine a safe date for his return to competition."I'll be fine; I'm just disappointed and a little sore," said Hamblin. "I need to meet with my doctor and get the green light to race again, but it's doubtful I'll race in San Diego this weekend. I'll know more tomorrow afternoon."Sean Hamblin was 10th in points coming into the third round of the supercross series. He put in an impressive ride at the Phoenix round, starting in almost last place and working his way to eighth.Sean Hamblin's sponsors include Suzuki, Alloy, Shoei, Alpinestars, Spy, Ogio, Kicker and DC Shoes.Suzuki's Broc Hepler and Branden Jesseman were also injured during testing today at the factory test track.Seventeen-year-old Broc Hepler suffered a separated shoulder where the clavicle meets the shoulder. Hepler will consult with his physician on Friday and start physical therapy early next week. Hepler's ability to compete in the 125 East Series opener in Houston will depend on his physician's prognosis.Jesseman, the reigning 125cc East Supercross Champion, suffered a sprained finger while testing. A visit to a nearby hospital verified that the finger was not broken. Jesseman will be ready to race in Houston on February 14th.
