Glen Helen MX Press Day 2016

The racers were out on the track two days before round 2 of the 2016 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series at Glen Helen MX.

At each 2016 AMA Pro Motocross National this summer we're going to bring you the story, in photos, of how some racers did on their raceday. If you couldn't attend the event, and your racer didn't get much airtime on the television coverage, don't worry, we were there for you; and this is your chance to see their story. We'll bring you different riders from each event and share them with you throughout the week, so be sure to check back. For this photo gallery, we bring you the Thursday press day from Glen Helen where many of the riders took to the National track two days before the race.

Josh Grant has had this Saturday circled on his calendar for a long time. Look for Josh to have his best race this weekend on his home track.Photo by Rob Koy

With a second place finish last weekend Ryan Dungey had to surrender the red plate to Roczen. Look for Ryan to have better speed this weekend since Hangtown is not his track; he’s never won at Hangtown.Photo by Rob Koy
Adam Cianciarulo scrubbing it hard at Glen Helen press day ride. Look how big Adam has gotten over the last 6 months. He is over 6 feet tall now, and you have to wonder if his size might hurt him going up all the hills at Glen Helen.Photo by Rob Koy
