DRDs Bobby Bonds Take 2008 WORCS Championship - Dirt Rider Magazine

Norco, CA. (October 20, 2008) -Dubach Racing Development (DRD)is proud to announce Bobby Bonds wrapped up his first World Off-Road Racing Championship Series(WORCS) Title at the last round held in Taft, California. Bonds was the most consistent rider throughout the year aboard his DRD KX450, stringing together 6 consecutive second place finishes capped of with a win at the final round secured Bonds the 2008 WORCS Title.The day started out less than perfect for Bonds, spinning off the start coming out of the first turn around 15th place. This is where Bonds, DRDs hard work testing and developing all year long paid off, Bonds put on a charge to run down the competition taking the lead before the halfway point in the race and would never see a challenge."Second place would just not be good enough today," said Bonds later. "I was going to win or go down giving it everything I had, this championship means everything to me I can't thank my sponsors enough for sticking behind me."This would mark DRD, Bonds first WORCS Title and look forward to many more to come.
