Husaberg Signs Nick Fahringer - Dirt Riders Magazine

Amherst, OH- National Enduro rider, Nick Fahringer, signs with Husaberg North America, a division of KTM Motorsports, Inc. through the duration of the 2007 National Enduro season.Fahringer has an impressive background in Enduro racing finishing 7th overall in last year's series after missing two races due to injury. He currently stands fifth in the 2007 AMA FMF National Enduro Series points with two rounds remaining.Starting out the season on a Gas Gas 250 two-stroke, Fahringer is excited about making the switch to the four-stroke and plans on racing the Husaberg FE450e for the remainder of the National Enduro Series. "The Husaberg FE450e will give me the power I need to stay up front. The chassis is stable and I feel comfortable on my new bike," stated Fahringer.In addition to the National Enduro Series, Fahringer will compete aboard his Husaberg in the newly formed Endurocross Series. He also hopes to attend the Red Bull Last Man Standing Event in which he placed ninth overall last year. "I really enjoy that race. The race suits my style; it is a grueling course that really puts your body to the test," claimed Fahringer.When not racing, this determined twenty year-old is busy as a full-time mechanical engineering student in his junior year at the University of Dayton. This weekend he will put down his books to debut his new Husaberg at Round 7 of the AMA FMF National Enduro Series in West Point, TN. Fahringer said, "My goal for the end of the season is to try and move to 3rd in points by putting in good results these last two rounds.""We at Husaberg North America are excited to sign a rider with the strong work ethic that Nick exudes.
