Last year was a big one for Suzuki on the dual sport front. The Hamamatsu manufacturer brought its DR-Z4S to market, which replaced the long-standing DR-Z400S that was in production from 2000–2024. Following up on the excitement of the DR-Z4S, Suzuki has come out with a new variant of it for 2026 called the DR-Z4S+.

How does the DR-Z4S+ differ from the DR-Z4S? The model with plus in its name is outfitted with Suzuki Genuine Accessories including an aluminum skid plate, hand guards (or “knuckle covers” as Suzuki calls them), and front and rear brake disc covers. Appearance is unchanged from last year, which means the DR-Z4S is still offered in two colors including Champion Yellow No. 2/Solid Special White No. 2 or Solid Iron Gray, and same applies to the DR-Z4S+.

A new model for 2026, Suzuki’s DR-Z4S+ boasts extra items over the DR-Z4S including an aluminum skid plate, hand guards, and front and rear brake disc covers. Said items cost a total of $469.80 when purchased separately, and the DR-Z4S+ retails for $300 more than the DR-Z4S.Suzuki
The DR-Z4S doesn’t see an MSRP increase for 2026, which means it still costs $8999, while the DR-Z4S+ stickers for $300 more at $9299. Both of these MY26 dual sports from Suzuki are available now.
