VIDEO: John Penton GNCC 2016 Highlights

The 27th Annual Wiseco John Penton GNCC took place at the popular Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio on Memorial Day Weekend. Obermeyer MCS Suzuki rider Ricky Russell was 4th Overall, his best finish of 2016. Russell’s teammate, Chris Douglas was 15th in XC1. SRT off-road riders Steward Baylor JR and Cory Buttrick were 5th and 7th respectively. Westfield Powersports Jordan Ashburn was up front early on, but due to a mechanical issues finished further back in 9th. AmPro Yamaha rider Grant Baylor was back in action, finishing 8th in XC1. AmPro teammates Daniel Milner and Nick Davis finished 14th and 17th in their respective classes. Jesse Groemm finished 5th in XC2 while Tegan Temple would finish 20th. Zack Hayes rode hard to finish 8th in XC2.

Round 9 of the GNCC Series, the Dunlop Tomahawk, is June 11th and 12th in Odessa, New York. Get well soon Daniel Milner. We hope to see you at the ISDE.
