I couldn't be happier that the '09 YZ-Fs come with a multi-adjustable top triple clamp. A combination of reversible handlebar mounts and a top clamp with two locating holes provides four potential handlebar locations. I like the room, and I've found that I only like the stock YZ bend bar on the Yamaha. Having the bar taller to go with my taller seat would be nice, but I won't sacrifice the YZ's stock bar to get the height. These $79.95 mounts from Yamaha's GYTR accessory division offer the offset of the stock bar clamps (for '08-'09 YZ450Fs, '09 YZ250Fs, '07-'09 WR450/250Fs) with the addition of a 4mm spacer to offer an additional range of adjustment. I could use 4 or 5mm more height, but the bolts in the mounts are too short for that. Yamaha has given all the height that you can have and still have the lock feature of the stock nut function properly. If you are a taller rider, these mounts can make riding while standing much more comfortable at about the same cost as a new bar. Not a product for everyone, but appreciated by folks like me. -Karel Kramer
