Since 2019, Honda has offered an up-spec version of its flagship motocross bike called the CRF450RWE. The Works Edition model costs $2,800 more than the standard CRF450R, and boasts several special features and components. For the engine, that includes polished ports, special ECU settings, a Yoshimura RS-12 exhaust system, and Hinson Racing clutch basket and cover.
We strapped the CRF450RWE to our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer with a Dunlop D404 street tire on its rear wheel, documenting peak figures of 54.7 hp and 34.7 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s an increase of 2.2 hp and decrease of 0.4 lb.-ft. of torque over the standard model.

“The 2023 Honda CRF450RWE is torquey yet smooth,” test rider Casey Casper said. “Compared to the standard CRF450R, it runs even cleaner and has a much more pleasant exhaust note thanks to the full Yoshimura system.”
