2021 Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar Edition Dyno Test

How much power does Husqvarna’s special-edition 450 motocrosser make in 2021?

Since 2018, Husqvarna has offered a limited-edition version of its standard FC 450 model called the FC 450 Rockstar Edition. Typically unveiled before the beginning of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, the 2021 model was no different as Husqvarna released details about the bike in early December 2020. Although it features several trick components from the Husqvarna Technical Accessories catalog, the only parts on this year’s model that could give it a different power character in comparison to the standard FC 450 are the Connectivity Unit and FMF Racing Factory 4.1 silencer. After taking delivery of the bike and mounting a Dunlop D404 street tire on the rear wheel, we ran it on our in-house Dynojet 250i rear-wheel dynamometer, where it churned out peak figures of 53.4 hp at 9,600 rpm and 33.2 pound-feet of torque at 6,800 rpm.
