2021 Beta 250 RR Dyno Test

How much power does Beta’s 250cc two-stroke off-road bike make in 2021?

Beta offers four standard model two-stroke off-road bikes for 2021: the 125 RR, 200 RR, 250 RR, and 300 RR. While we dyno tested and reviewed the Italian manufacturer’s largest-displacement two-stroke, the 300 RR, last year, Beta lent us its 250cc model this year and the first thing we did upon taking delivery of it was run it on our rear-wheel dyno. We documented 38.9 hp at 8,100 rpm and 27.3 pound-feet of torque at 6,600 rpm, which is only 0.4 less peak horsepower and 1.1 pound-feet less peak torque than the 300 RR.
