The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and the journey to this prestigious amateur event continues for the sport’s up-and-coming riders. The first Regional Championships begin May 28 and will continue every weekend until June 26. The regional winners will then compete at the National Championships held at Loretta Lynn Ranch on August 1–6.

Area Qualifiers have taken place from February to May in 55 different venues across the United States. Riders who have qualified are eligible to participate in their corresponding Regional Championship. A total of 13 Regional Championships will be held in eight regions. This year, the Regional Championships will begin with Muddy Creek in Tennessee and Washougal in Washington.

Riders who earned a qualifying spot from their results in an Area Qualifier must pre-register online for the corresponding Regional Championship in order to guarantee their spot. Riders will receive a Rocky Mountain ATV/MC $20 gift card for each Regional Championship they pre-register for. This is part of the Race Gas Fast Track program sponsored by Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. Gift cards are mailed to eligible racers after each Regional Championship has ended.

“Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has reaffirmed their commitment to the Loretta Lynn program,” said MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. “The Race Gas gift card initiative has put tens of thousands of dollars back into amateur race budgets. This program has been perhaps the most significant gift to amateur racing families in recent memory.”

Those who qualify at a Regional Championship will be eligible to race at Loretta Lynn’s in the first week of August. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC serves as the title sponsor for the event.

“The road to Loretta Lynn’s is difficult, and we want to congratulate everyone who has made it this far as well as wish them luck at the Regional Championships,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “We owe a lot to the amateur motocross riders across the country, and we’re happy to be able to give back by serving as the title sponsor for Loretta Lynn’s and by offering $20 gift cards through the Race Gas Fast Track program at the Regional Championships.”
