RMFantasySX Winners Visit the Carmichael Ranch to Customize Their New Suzuki RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 Bikes

PAYSON, UT (July 8, 2015) – The second year of RMFantasySX was incredible, especially for Rodney Johnson from Iowa and Joe Wold from Washington. Rodney and Joe took 1st and 2nd this year, and on June 29, they attended a VIP trip to Ricky Carmichael's ranch in Cairo, Georgia, to customize their prizes: a Suzuki RM-Z450 for Rodney and a Suzuki RM-Z250 for Joe.

In only its second year, RMFantasySX exploded in popularity thanks to great new features (like groups) and the amazing weekly and season prizes. Over 46,000 Monster Energy Supercross fans participated during the 2015 season. Many exciting prize packages were offered, including a trip to Las Vegas for the Monster Energy Cup in October, a Pirelli trip to the JGR facility in North Carolina, an Alpinestars Ultimate Gear Package and – of course – the two Suzuki motorcycles specially race prepped by FMF and JGR.

It was a close competition right up until the very end. The top 10 finishers were separated by only about a 7% difference in points. Rodney finished in 1st with 789 points, claiming the Suzuki RM-Z450 – and he wasn’t even in the top 10 until the final round. Joe finished in 2nd with 777 points, claiming the Suzuki RM-Z250.

They took slightly different approaches to making picks in order to finish on top. Rodney watched practice heats before making his picks. Joe used logbooks and statistics to assist him. Although the ability to change picks was a new feature this year, they only utilized it if a rider got hurt. Both winners are avid riders and were thrilled to receive their new bikes.

Rodney and Joe are big Ricky Carmichael fans, so it was a highlight for them to meet the GOAT. They also got a tour of the place by Ricky himself, viewing his motocross tracks, his house, and his trophies. Rodney and Joe also had the opportunity to meet motocross stars Jeremy and Alex Martin, who were training at the ranch at the time.

“We’ve had another incredible year with RMFantasySX, and the presentation of the Suzuki dirt bikes to the two top winners caps it all off,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “RMFantasySX allowed thousands of supercross fans to more completely immerse themselves in the sport they love. We’re happy that we were able to provide that experience to so many fans as well as deliver great prizes to the lucky winners.”

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC's fantasy supercross game will return again for the 2016 season at www.RMFantasySX.com. More great prizes will be available. As always, it will be completely free to play.
