Chase Sexton Signs with Monster Energy Kawasaki

2023 AMA Supercross 450SX and 2024 AMA Pro Motocross champ will race a green machine in 2026.

Following a long year of racing in the 2025 AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross, and SuperMotocross Championships, the offseason involves more top riders switching motorcycle manufacturers than usual.

After competing for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in 2024 and 2025, Chase Sexton is back on Japanese machinery with the Monster Energy Kawasaki effort.Kawasaki

One of the most notable changes involves Chase Sexton. It’s now official that he’s departed Red Bull KTM Factory Racing (which he raced for in 2024 and 2025) to join Monster Energy Kawasaki. The Illinois native’s first AMA race aboard his new KX450SR will be Anaheim 1 on January 10, 2026.

“Joining Monster Energy Kawasaki is an amazing opportunity, and I’m really looking forward to this new chapter in my career,” Sexton said. “The team has already made me feel very supported with anything I need, and they’re here to give me all the tools I need to win. I believe this is the next step I need to compete for championships, and I am motivated for the 2026 season.”
