Pro-OHV Legislation (AB 1077) Approved for California

Sharetrails.org/BlueRibbon Coalition's (BRC) Western Representative, Don Amador, joined several National and State OHV organizations, trade associations, outdoor hunting organizations, motorcycle and 4WD clubs, rural counties, county sheriffs, and non-profit groups today in Sacramento voicing support for AB 1077 (O'Donnell). After public testimony, the CA Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife voted to approve this important pro-OHV legislation.

As many of you know, the bill extends the operation of the OHV program indefinitely. This continues to be a complicated legislative and political process since there are other related legislative proposals and the ongoing CA State Parks Transformation Process.
