In moto 1 Jason got around a 10th place start and started to come though the pack passing the whole JGR team, Musquin, Canard and Seely putting him into 4th place behind Tomac. Here he gets roosted while chasing Eli on the 11th lap. Jason was able to make the pass on Tomac on lap 12 and take over 3rd place.Photography by Rob Koy
On the last lap Jason caught and passed Ken Roczen for 2nd place. Ken had an air fork malfunction and was in survival mode trying to make it to the end. Here Jason looks over his shoulder seeing if Ken would catch him before the finish line jump.Photography by Rob Koy

In moto 2 Jason got another 10th place start and quickly got up to 5th place after one lap. Jason had to make a pass on his Husky teammate Pourcel at the top of Mt. St. Helen for 4th place on lap four. Then Jason had some sketchy moments the next few laps while battling with Tomac and Canard. Here Jason takes the outside line into the front rhythm section. Jason almost threw it away in this front rhythm section while battling with Trey Canard. Many riders complained about how sketchy this section was for racing and wondered why they would build a supercross section on a motocross track.Photography by Rob Koy
As the track got dry and rough during the 2nd moto Jason uses the far right side of the Mt. St. Helen downhill next to the fans trying to find a smoother line. The braking bumps got very sketchy coming down this hill.Photography by Rob Koy
