Jacob Argubright Takes 3rd at Nevada National Hare & Hound

Argubright finishes third in Round 5

The 2016 AMA National Hare & Hound season resumed after a short summer break, as the series headed to southern Nevada for round five. Located in the small town of Caliente, the Silver State Trailblazers hosted an 80+ mile course, where Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jacob Argubright secured 3rd overall, and additional points towards his chase for the championship. Prior to the event, monsoons soaked the course and elevated the river crossings; making conditions ideal for racing.

On Saturday at 10 a.m. the banner dropped and the line of Pro racers took off into a sand wash, where Argubright quickly moved from 5th to 3rd by the first turn. Coming into the pits after 25-miles, Argubright sat in 3rd place, where he consistently remained for the duration of the race. Over the next 63-miles, Argubright spent his time hunting down 2nd overall, but ultimately finished 3rd overall aboard the 2016 Husqvarna FE 350, earning himself the final podium position.

“Overall it was a good day, and I was able to earn a solid finish. Each race teaches me something new, and this race was no different. I am looking forward to the last two rounds with Husqvarna Motorcycles,” Argubright mentioned, “I can’t thank the team and my sponsors enough for helping me race in and race out!” He concluded.
