The Road 2 Recovery Foundation's Seventh Annual 'Slots of Golf' Supercross Celebrity Golf Classic at Badlands Golf Course on May 5th, 2006 will benefit Ernesto Fonseca who suffered severe injuries at practice on March 7th, 2006. The Road 2 Recovery Foundation will partner with the Women's Motocross & Supercross Foundation to help Ernesto Fonseca. This event will be held in conjunction with the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series, which concludes in Las Vegas, NV on May 6th, 2006.This now legendary tournament teams a Supercross rider with each foursome for a memorable day of golf. Past riders who have participated include: Jeremy McGrath, Travis Pastrana, Chad Reed, Kevin Windham, Ricky Carmichael and Jeff Emig to name a few. This year's event promises to have another star studded field of celebrities teeing it up with their fans.The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is dedicated to helping AMA licensed motocross members with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional, and spiritual support to these individuals and their families. The Road 2 Recovery is recognized as a 501-c3 tax-deductible charitable foundation.The Women's Motocross and Supercross Foundation (WMXF) is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) founded in 2003 to enhance the motocross/supercross racing community.
