Dirt Rider, WORCS East news

The World Off Road Championship Series goes East
Update on the new addition to the WORCSTy Davis returned to California from Ocala, Florida $5000 richer after managing to hold off Brian Garrahan. With two second place finishes, Brian Garrahan is currently the WORCS East leader after finishing second at both rounds. The course looked like complete mud race, but once the course departed the soggy motocross track and entered the woods, it transformed into a challenging, yet manageable trail.
Crossing the gooey start field first was Jimmy Jarrett but could not keep the blistering pace of Davis and Garrahan and crossed the finish line at a respectable third ahead of Russ Pearson, who was suffering from an ill-running bike. WORCS East Round one winner Cole Caulkins didn't fare so well at Ocala. His carburetor malfunctioned, leaving him stranded in the woods awaiting a tow back into the pits.
