EVS Daytona Supercross Results - Dirt Rider Magazine

Monday, March 9, 2009It was the setting for a perfect race: great weather, eager fans and ready to win racers. EVS athletes were suited up and ready for action as they hit the track at the Daytona International Speedway.In the AMA Supercross Lites class, Daniel Blair finished 11th, Shane Sewell came in 15th and Brad Ripple ended the night in 18th. After this weekend's event, Daniel Blair is 11th in the overall Supercross Lites East points standings while Brad Ripple is in 18th, Tyler Wharton is in 19th, Shane Sewell is in 20th, Ryan Smith is 23rd, Sean Hackley is 28th and Cody Gilmore is 30th.In the AMA Supercross class, Josh Hill finished in 11th position which puts him in 11th position in the overall Supercross points standings. Paul Carpenter of the Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki team is in 15th, while his teammate Robert Kiniry is in 28th. Daniel Blair rounds out the class in 33rd.Supercross is on the road and headed to New Orleans, Louisiana this coming weekend. In addition, the Arenacross series will resume its season as they roll into the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Good Luck to all EVS athletes!
