Last year they did that with Chad Johnson, the defending Champion, and this year with Jeff Gibson. Jeff is the point's leader and has been on a rail lately sweeping both main events on Friday and Saturday at the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2002, at the age of 18, Brett packed his bags and headed for Europe to compete in the World Motocross GP Series MX2. It was only one year later, in 2003, that Metcalfe came stateside to begin his U.S. racing career. He subsequently competed in both East and West Supercross support class championships, eventually winning the U.S. Open in Las Vegas in 2005. He is currently in 2nd place after the first Lites East Round.
