Amherst, OH- Husaberg North America, a division of KTM Motorsports, announced today that they have re-signed National Enduro rider Nick Fahringer for the 2009 racing season.2008 was Fahringer's first year as a Factory Husaberg team rider where he contested both the National Enduro and EnduroCross Series. Fahringer earned a podium position mid-season, but shortly after injured his ACL and was forced to sit on the sidelines the remainder of the season. "It was unfortunate that my season ended early this year. I am now following the doctor's order and staying off of my leg until December to ensure that I come back stronger than ever," commented Fahringer.Fahringer will contest both the National Enduro Series and the OMA Series for 2009. "I really enjoy both of those series and am looking forward to putting the new Husaberg on the podium," stated Fahringer. "The 2009 Husabergs look great and I can't wait to ride them."The highly innovative 2009 Husaberg with a 70-degree cylinder head angle was released in August at the Husaberg Dealer Show where Nick Fahringer got a first look at his 2009 ride. "I got injured right before the bikes arrived. I have heard so many great things about the new bikes and I am so bummed because I have seen the new bike, I've even sat on it - but I still can't ride it!"Robbie Jenks, Husaberg Regional Sales Manager, stated "We are excited to re-sign Nick for the 2009 season. He is an amazing rider on and off the track. Earlier this year he was on his way to his best overall finish in the National Enduro Series. In 2009, when he is 100% healthy we know we can expect great things from him."To learn more about Nick Fahringer and the new line of 2009 Husaberg Motorcycles, log on to: www.husaberg.com.
