(October 26, 2007) - Fans of the already stacked Toyota AMA Arenacross Series' got another reason to start planning the races they'll hit when it was announced today that 2005'-06 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series runner-up, Brock Sellards, along with AMA Supercross mainstay Kelly Smith, have joined forces with Team Babbitt's Monster Energy/Kawasaki beginning with the start of the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series season in Des Moines, Iowa (Nov. 2-4).Owned by longtime Michigan powersports dealer Eddie Babbitt and managed by Denny Bartz, Team Babbitt's Monster Energy/Kawasaki enters the 2007-'08 Toyota AMA Arenacross Series season as an instant contender for the overall AMA Arenacross class title."Brock has been definitely riding like he's got something to prove after losing the title two years ago by point," said Bartz of Sellards' 417-416 title loss to Chad Johnson - the closest title finish ever in the history of the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series. "Kelly's hard-charging riding style will suit him well in the tight confines of Toyota AMA Arenacross Series racing.
