FUNCHAL, 28 September 2007- With its 61st edition held at Budds Creek last weekend, the FIM Motocross of Nations is one of the most established and popular motorsport events in the world. The event, which is promoted by Youthstream, the FIM Motocross World Championship and FIM Motocross of Nations commercial rights holder, has reached impressive records in the last years, such as high standards of the facilities, a solid TV coverage (live and delayed), hard fought and exciting racing, and impressive crowds, like the one who invaded Budds Creek -75000 spectators. The key of this success was the hard work that Youthstream and its partners carried out all over the year. Working in close cooperation with major sponsors, Youthstream wants to thank them for this latest triumph. The track area of Budds Creek was incredibly well organized Red Bull has been the Title sponsor of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations at Budds Creek, helping the event come back to the US after a 20 year absence. Red Bull's support has been great, and the company's motto "To dare is to Do" reflected on the great racing of the last weekend. Red Bull, the world's leading Energy Drink company, was created in 1984 by Austrian Dietrich Mateschitz, whose brilliant product was spread first in Austria and then around the world. Red Bull has a strong association with the FIM Motocross World Championship and with Youthstream, being the series' official energy drink. The slogan "Red Bull vitalizes body and bind" is directly connected to the brilliant performances of the riders on the track. All the starts of Sunday's races left the public breathless FOX has also been giving the event and Youthstream a lot of help; FOX is one of the main sponsors of the World Motocross series, and played the role of Title Sponsor at last year's Motocross of Nations -Matterley Basin, Great Britain. This year at Budds Creek FOX sponsored rider Ricky Carmichael lead Team USA to their 18th Chamberlain Trophy.
