All riders qualifying for an AMA Pro Motocross National, an AMA Supercross final, an AMA National Arenacross final (AMA Arenacross Pro Class only), Advanstar BooKoo Arenacross final (250F and 450F classes), or an FIM sanctioned pro event in the current or previous year may only enter the 125 A Pro Sport and/or the 250 A Pro Sport classes at the Loretta Lynn's National. The AMA Arenacross Lites class is not considered a pro class, so riders competing in that division are still eligible to race non pro-sport classes at Loretta Lynn's.The 25th Anniversary AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn's begin Monday, July 31st, with motos beginning Tuesday, August 1st and concluding on Saturday, August 6th.The AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships is the world's largest amateur motocross race. In 2005, over 22,000 entries attempted to qualify in 33 classes for the event. The 2005 National was held August 1 - 6, 2005 at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Winning an AMA Amateur National Championship is considered the launch pad to a lucrative pro motocross career.
