Mid America Powersports Expo to Run In Conjunction with Des Moines Arenacross - News - Dirt Rider Magazine

Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division announced today that the first-annual Mid America Powersports Expo kicks off at Hy-Vee Hall November 4-6, 2005, in conjunction with Des Moines round of the AMA National Arenacross Series at Wells Fargo Arena.With everything from traditional motorcycles and custom choppers to aftermarket parts and accessories, the Mid America Powersports Expo features something for every motorcycle enthusiast. Also featured are ATVs, boats, personal watercraft, snowmobiles and more. Throughout the weekend, fans will be able to walk between Hy-Vee Hall and Wells Fargo Arena to take in the ultimate powersports weekend.Opened in July, Wells Fargo Arena boasts a capacity of 17,000, each with great site lines to the arena floor. Wells Fargo Arena hosts a variety of entertainment and family events and is home to the Iowa Stars hockey organization, the top-level affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars. The state-of-the art facility includes a 180 seat restaurant, 36 corporate suites, 20 loge boxes, and 600 club seats offering the finest in fan amenities.Hy-Vee Hall is the pride of Des Moines for exhibits, showcases, trade shows, conventions and upscale banquets and balls.
