Stewart, Carmichael and Reed to Headline U.S. Open on NBC - News - Dirt Rider Magazine

Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division announced today that Kawasaki's James Stewart, of Haines City, Fla., will race in his first U.S. Open as a professional in Open Division, October 7&8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The showdown will be broadcast on NBC October 23 at 3:30 p.m. EST.Stewart, who has two 125cc Regional AMA Supercross Series championships as well as two 125cc AMA Motocross National championships to his name, has not raced at the prestigious U.S. Open since 1999 when he won the 85cc Mini division. The 19-year old made his 250cc dbut in the AMA Supercross Series this year, winning three main events and leading 66 laps.
