Evans Earns Top Honors for U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Pro Privateer ChallengeTyler Evans, of Corona, Calif., was awarded $25,000 for earning top honors in the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company Pro Privateer Challenge in THQ World Supercross GP. Second-place finisher Damon Huffman, of Valencia, Calif., was awarded $15,000 and third-place finisher Jason Thomas, of Melrose, Fla., was awarded $10,000.
In addition to the $25,000, Evans was awarded a brand new Nissan Frontier and a 25' Weekend Warrior Trailer provided by GiantRV at the Clear Channel Entertainment – Motor Sports-produced year-end banquet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.Evans placed his Suzuki motorcycle in the top five in THQ World Supercross GP points at five races and in the top 10 at all but one race. A third place finish in Seattle was his best on the season."This is a huge step in the right direction for my career," said Evans.
