Kendall Norman talks about Erzberg Rodeo 2012

Kendall Norman is not what you would consider a wimpy individual. The dude is tough; he's blasted through the desert at high speeds and has spent more time riding a dirt bike in Mexico these past 10 years than most people have spent riding in their own backyards. But despite being an ironman, Kendall has actually never tried his hand at European hard enduro racing, and when the opportunity came up to race a KTM at the 2012 Erzberg Rodeo Norman jumped at the chance. This event is tougher than tough, drawing over 1,800 athletes from around the world and seeing only seven finishers in 2012. Unfortunately, Kendall Norman was not among them, although it seems that he had the time of his life racing Erzberg. The race format is unique in that a clock is started when the first place rider crosses the finish line, and everyone is pulled off the track exactly one hour after the leader has finished. Like many other riders, Kendall was pulled off the track after houring out due to bad weather later in the race.
