Italian Husqvarna rider Alex Salvini joins Elite class regulars at BSEC Round 7 & 8

Husqvarna Enduro Team by CH Racing’s Alex Salvini has confirmed his participation in rounds seven and eight of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship at Manor Farm in Adstone, Northampton.

Salvini, who is currently placed sixth overall in the Enduro 2 World Championship, will take to the start of his first ever sprint enduro and is set to spice things up in the Elite class as the series enters the closing stages of what has been a hotly contested season. Recently returned from Spain and Portugal where he placed fourth on day two at the GP of Portugal, Alex is keen to try his hand at the UK’s sprint-racing format.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity to race in the BSEC,” confirmed Alex following his recent EWC success. “I’ve heard a lot about this format of racing and think it will be really good training for me. Due to the last minute nature of the arrangement, my plan is to race a Husqvarna TC 250 instead of my usual TE 310 race bike.

“I know the level of competition is very high in this championship, but I hope to deliver a good result. However after the pressures of the last two world championship races my goal is just to enjoy myself and do the best I can.”

Rounds seven and eight of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship takes place this weekend May 19/20 at Enduroland, Manor Farm, Adstone, Northampton.
