Ditch Work and Ride for the ISDE! - Dirt Rider Magazine

If you live anywhere near Southern California and are looking for an excuse to ditch work, here it is: 2009 ISDE racers Tim Weigand and Kurt Caselli will be holding a special ride day at the Piru MX track this Friday, September 11th. Gate fee is just $25, and the proceeds go to Kurt and Tim's ISDE racing efforts, which are being funded completely out of pocket by these two talented riders. Lunch is included for each rider in attendance at the ride day, as well as one raffle ticket for a variety of prizes that have been donated for the cause by DVS, Asterisk, Troy Lee Designs, TREMX.com and more. Riding lasts from 12pm-6pm, so even if you can't ditch the whole day you can still make it after work for a few motos!Support for Americans at the International Six Days Enduro has been weak in the past, but you can help change that. Show up to the track, enjoy some grub, buy a few raffle tickets and help support USA's best while getting some solid riding time. In addition to helping these racers, you'll also be pitching in for a good cause in remembrance of 9/11, as $1 from each rider's gate fee will be donated to the wounded warrior fund.If you can't make it to Piru on Friday but still want to help the ISDE cause, log on to http://www.panicrev.org/rev_v2/features/402-support-our-2009-isde-team-.html to buy a Timmy Weigand T-shirt online.See you there!
