Did you notice anything different on the TLD athletes at this year's X-games? Well, if you're as savvy as our resident Spy Guy (that's me) you would have spotted the new lid on top of Supermoto champ Jeff Ward. And, if you had no regard for law enforcement, you would have snuck into the secret research and development division of Troy Lee Designs immediately following the X-game broadcasts to get the scoop on the new bucket. But you're not as savvy or as daring as Spy Guy, no one is. After smartly snapping these shots of Troy Lee's newest creation Spy Guy abducted a chief product designer and forced this info out of him:-The new TLD lid will be the company's top of the line model, replacing the SE. The SE will still be available in its currently updated state, but will no longer be TLD's top offering.-All the vents and hardware on the new helmet are titanium-Features include a removable, easy-clean mouth piece and a roost-blocking nose guard.-After some torture, the company source revealed that the bold colors, edgy designs and top-notch styling you've come to expect from TLD will, in fact, return for 2007.Well, we've already said too much. In fact, the man is probably watching as I type this so I better split.-Spy Guy out!
