Wade Young became the youngest winner to grace the center of the podium at the Red Bull Romaniacs with his win at this year’s event. The factory Sherco rider topped Germany’s Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jonny Walker (GB) en route to the win. Here’s a look at some of the riders at this year’s event.

Wade Young (ZAF)

Wade Young was passed by Manual Lettenbichler on a technical climb after the service point, however after taking a moment to regroup, the Sherco rider made his break with about 14 mile to go to take the win.Red Bull Content Pool/Mihai Stetcu

Manuel Lettenbichler (DEU)

Manuel Lettenbichler secured his first Red Bull Romaniacs’ podium. With the German securing his third top three result this season, he now moves to within 185 points of series leader Walker as they pass the halfway point in the championship.Red Bull Content Pool/Mihai Stetcu

Jonathan Walker (GBR)

Completing almost 27 hours of racing during the five-day race, Jonny Walker ended his participation in the 15th edition of the Red Bull Romaniacs third overall and with his WESS championship lead intact.Red Bull Content Pool/Attila Szabo

Mario Roman

Spain’s Alfredo Gomez (Hsq) took fourth on off road Day 4 to complete the top five in the overall classification.Red Bull Content Pool/Future7Media

Paul Bolton

Tadeusz Blazusiak (POL)

Despite a strong start and running in fourth place after Off Road Day 2, a bout of food poisoning forced Taddy Blazusiak to retire from the event at the beginning of day three.Red Bull Content Pool/Attila Szabo

Gianino Coscarelli

Wade Young (ZAF)

Wade Young was over the moon upon winning this year’s event. “This race is probably the toughest Enduro race around so I’m really stoked on the win. It’s a hugely demanding event. It’s five days on a bike and you get pushed to your absolute physical limit.
