Taylor Robert Leads E3 Class After Day Four At The ISDE In France [VIDEO]

US Women remain second overall

The US ISDE Teams turned in steady performances today without any major problems or setbacks. Taylor Robert told us he had he worst day so far, and yet the US World Trophy Team rider took over the lead in the E3 division. Christophe Nambotin had been leading the E3 class, however, the Frenchman crashed in a transfer section and injured his hand, so he dropped off the pace considerably.

In the Women’s division, all three of the US Women’s Trophy Team riders – Kacy Martinez, Becca Sheets and Brandi Richards – are running strong in second place, though they lost a bit of ground to the leaders, Australia. The good news is the ladies put some distance on the third place French team.

In the Junior Trophy Team division, Layne Michael had an outstanding day, though the US squad lost a bit of time and now sits in third behind France and Italy, about two minutes out of the lead. Josh Toth had a solid day, as did Grant Baylor. According to Toth, the guys know that anything can happen so they are going into tomorrow like it’s the first day.
